"I am looking forward to returning to India to play my part in further strengthening our relations. I am particularly delighted that I will be accompanied by business people keen to explore opportunities for business and collaboration in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan," the Indian-origin Minister said in a statement here.

"The UK is committed to being India's partner of choice and it is our strong and long standing business, education and low-carbon energy links that provide the backbone of this relationship," she added.

The UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State's visit is part of a series by senior British government representatives, and follows her participation in the Regional Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in London last month.
