"Pressing for the green cause, we will stage street plays to make people aware about the rise in noise and air pollution level due to bursting of crackers. We have requested people to donate scrap, so that we can fund others events by selling it," said Komal Badodekar, group in charge.

He said, "We chose Raahgiri Day for the initiative as many people from across the city will assemble at one place. We will be starting around 7 am. Our street play will also spread awareness regarding prevention from dengue."

Talking about cleanliness at 5 number bus stop near Chaar Imli, the group members said, "We have been cleaning it since post Ganesha immersion, bit by bit, every day. The idols which we took out of the pond were immersed again by right wing groups. But, we again took them out and finally the idols were taken care of by the authorities."
