Warning to sand miners

| NAGERCOIL: The Kanyakumari Collector, Sunil Paliwal, said stringent action would be initiated against those who indulged in illegal sand mining in Tamiraparani riverbed at Kuzhithurai.
Officials from revenue and police departments have been instructed to conduct surprise raids to check illegal sand mining. The Collector also warned of action against those who owned brick kilns near Tamiraparani river.
