Five kg of venison and a sharp weapon have also been seized from the arrested person identified as Bikash Patra of Rajendrapur village, said Bhitarkanika forest officer Durga Charan Sahoo.

“After killing it with a spear, Patra was trying to sell the meat in Talachua market when the forest officials nabbed him,” Sahoo said.
