CHENNAI: IIT-Madras will host a two-day national conference on climate change on October 26 and 27.
This conference, being organized under the banner of Indian Climate Research Network, will feature presentations and discussions on science and impacts, climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation and renewable energy by country's leading scientists and climate change experts.
The conference is co-organized by the IIT-Delhi, Indian Institute of Science - Bangalore, the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in Delhi and the IIT-Madras.
As part of the conference, the CSE will hold an exhibition, Climate Talkies, featuring the journey of climate change negotiations since 1992 through a humorous and satirical depiction of key climate meets, with movies as references.
