DAVV dept's call to save environment

INDORE: A three-day youth conference on climate change was organized at School of Journalism and Mass Communication which concluded on Sunday at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).

Addressing the youths on the concluding day, the head of the department M S Parmar said younger generation needs to play an active role in environment conservation. "The consequences are likely to be severe if we don't act now," he said.

Chief guest Ashish Gupta said, "We need to work collectively to save environment. Climate change is an international problem that needs urgent attention for better future."

Youth conference awards too were given on the occasion. The first and the second prizes were given to M Phil students Niranjan Kumar and Satish Chauhan respectively.
