NAGPUR: The hearing on bail application of three organized tiger poachers was adjourned till July 29, on Thursday.

The bail application of Siri, involved in poaching tigers in Melghat for the past five years, besides Yarlen and Barsul, who were handed over to the state forest department by MP officials, was put off by JMFC R B Raja.

All the three accused are under magisterial custody remand (MCR) till July 30. The accused may get bail due to hiding of facts and lack of aggressive approach by forest officials in investigations.

Despite having knowledge about the deal of six tiger skins between poachers and Sarju Bagdi, a Haryana-based trader who deals in tiger skin and body parts, in Bhandarbodi near Ramtek, officials did not allegedly allow the fact to come on record during investigations.
