According to reports, the police were tipped-off that Babu, a native of Gulkambo village in Mandi police circle, was engaged in wildlife smuggling. The police also learnt that Babu had stored huge quantity of antler horns in a house in Melagulal colony. Armed with this information, the police raided the house but Babu got a wind of the raid and escaped.
