Govt forms cell on climate change

| The State Government have constituted a State Climate Change Cell at Environmental Planning Coordination Organisation (EPCO) Bhopal to carry out information and knowledge related environmental works. The executive director, EPCO will be incharge of the Cell.
It may be mentioned that climate change is a global issue today. The State Government is concerned with the issue. The Government has already constituted an “Environment Resource Monitoring Committee” on November 13, 2007. EPCO has been entrusted with the responsibility of functioning as State nodal agency.
