Jairam: India won’t dilute Kyoto stance

Oct. 20: Clarifying India’s stand on the issue of climate change negotiations, environment minister Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday reiterated that India would not accept internationally legally binding emission reduction targets or commitments as part of any agreement or deal or outcome. Though he said that he had suggested "some flexibility", he ruled out diluting India’s stance on the Kyoto Protocol.
