Scientists asked to focus on impact of climate change

HYDERABAD: Union Minister of State for Defence M. M. Pallam Raju has suggested scientists to adopt an integrated approach to mitigate problems arising out of climate change and recommend measures which could be adopted by farmers. Inaugurating a workshop on ‘Climate change impacts on river basins in semi-arid areas in India: mitigation and adoption measures to address current and future challenges’, on Saturday, he expressed concern over vulnerability of rural masses to climate change.
