Climate change

This summer will perhaps be the hottest so far. Temperatures, like never before, have begun to soar right since the last week of January. Mid-noon sun, with all his ferocity, is forcing the city dwellers to dust their caps and umbrellas from the shelves. Coconut sales have gone up and so have the sales of watermelon sections and ‘pudina’ water.

However, there was a pleasant surprise for early risers on Thursday. They found sunrise shrouded in a thick mist of smog making one wonder if it was indicative of the much-harped climate change.
