AASU protest rally over rhino poaching

| BOKAKHAT, Feb 4 – The Bokakhat subdivisional unit of the AASU took out a huge protest rally yesterday against the frequent poaching cases of rhino at Kaziranga National Park.
The rally that started from the AASU’s office premises, was joined by hundreds of students and marched to the office of the director and DFO of the KNP situated at Bokakhat. The rally organises a protest meet in front of the Director’s office.
The Kaziranga Jeep Safari Association, AJYCP and Asom Sena also took part in the rally that demanded employment of more frontline sentinels and resignation of the State forest minister and the authorities concerned.
