DERGAON, Feb 2 – After the tragic killing of a female rhino by poachers on January 19, protest from all corners have been pouring in. A protest rally was taken out recently under the aegis of Kaziranga Jeep Safari Association where they demanded stern action against the poachers. A total of 70 jeeps took part in the rally from Kohora to Bokakhat. The NGO like Greenland Society, Green Earth also took part in the rally.
