Drive against vehicles causing air pollution

TUMKUR, DEC. 11. B. Mallikarjuna, Regional Transport Officer, Tumkur, has urged heads of various government offices in the district to get emission test done on their office vehicles.

In a press release issued here on Saturday, he said there were complaints that government vehicles contributed more to air pollution. His department would launch a drive from Monday to January 30 against vehicles causing air pollution, he added.
