Anti-poaching camps formed

CHIKMAGALUR: Deputy Conservator Smitha Bijjur said here on Tuesday that 26 anti-poaching camps were formed to contain poaching activity in the Bhadra Wild Life Sanctuary.

Speaking to this website's newspaper, she said to take various development works like improvement of habitat, soil conservation, banning illegal tree cutting and others to improve the Sanctuary, the department had sought the necessary fund under the 12th finance. She said the department had taken demarcation work of the sanctuary in a speedy way.
