New Delhi, June 15
Mr Vilas Muttemwar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Non Conventional Energy Sources is scheduled to visit Germany to have a meeting with the German Wind Energy Association and Industries for holding discussions for joint manufacturing of Wind Energy Systems and Components.
On June 16, Mr Muttemwar would meet the German Minister of Environment, Conservation and Industries in Berlin for holding discussions on matters of mutual cooperation between the two countries in the field of Renewable Energy.
Recently, Mr Muttemwar concluded a two-day visit to the Republic of Iceland. In his address to the third Global Roundtable on Climate Change held on June 12-13 in Reykjavik, the Minister articulated India's position on climate change related issues. He also informed them about recent achievements of India's renewable energy programme as well as our future plans in this regard.
