Salman Khan granted bail

New Delhi, April 13: After spending three days in jail, Salman Khan has been granted bail in the chinkara poaching case by a sessions court in Jodhpur. He is expected to be released by Thursday evening.

On Monday, the Bollywood actor was sentenced to five years rigorous imprisonment and sent to the Jodhpur central jail in connection with the 1998 chinkara poaching case. A fine of Rs 25,000 was also imposed on Salman Khan.
