Correspondent :
Rhino poaching has been reported reduced in South Africa’s biggest park.

South Africa’s environment minister, Edna Molewa revealed Sunday that the Poaching had reduced so far by 18 percent this year, according ,Foxnews.

Between March and August 458 carcasses of poached rhinos were found in Kruger National Park.

Reports from the ministry of environment shows that the decrease in poaching might be as a result of pressure mounted against the act in Kruger National Park.

It is presumed that the killing might be shifted to other areas. To that effect, poaching syndicates may be moving operations from Kruger National Park to other parts of South Africa.

Nationally, 702 rhino have been poached since the beginning of 2016 compared to a total of 796 rhino poached between January and July 2015.
