PM Narendra Modi on Sunday began the lead intervention at the G20 Summit.

He began by condemning the terror attack in Paris which led to the death of at least 129 people."Today, we meet in the tragic shadow of dreadful acts of terrorism. Combating it must be major priority for G20," he said.

"This year is a milestone. The UN turned 70. We have adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are days away from charting a sustainable future for our planet," he said.

PM Narendra Modi also outlined how India's developmental goals are aligned with the SDGs. "We in India don't see development and combating climate change as competing objectives. This is centred on the unity of humanity and nature" PM said.
