India and USA discussed a host of prickly issues, including cyber security and climate change during their two-day summit held at a California resort on 7-9 June 2013.The nations also committed to work together to phase down the consumption and production of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) as part of their combined effort against climate change.

For the first time, the US and China will work together and with other countries to use the expertise and institutions of the Montreal Protocol to phase down the consumption and production of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), among other forms of multilateral cooperation.

Both nations agreed to work together on the crucial cyber security issues that have spiraled tensions between the two nations. The cyber security can actually be an area for China and the US to work together with each other in a pragmatic way. Issues like hacking or theft are not issues that are unique to the US-China relationship, but those are of international concern.
