The close look at butterflies, clouds, mountains, birds is like a heavenly treat for the art lovers of the city. The Bhopalites can have a look at photograph exhibition ‘Ode to Nature’ being put up by Anil Gulati at Swaraj Bhawan.

The exhibition was inaugurated here on Wednesday by his parents S L Gulati and Swadesh Gulati. There are about 75 photographs on clouds, birds and butterflies. The pictures narrate the story of reflections of life in pictures of clouds, birds and butterflies. It is about life, nature, freedom, colours, friendship, and being ‘self’. The pictures in this panorama speak on the above themes. Nature and its beauty cannot be bound in boundaries, hence the pictures are also without boundaries, in different sizes, and captured in lens in their natural existence.

Watching clouds and capturing them in camera is entertaining, as they form different shapes in different circumstances. Cloudscapes though have names which are dependent on their height and appearance but for Anil they convey images of friendship, shapes of nature, painting, hands of clouds, dragon, and even map of India.

Madhya Pradesh with its diverse flora and fauna attract many birds, both resident and migratory. Pictures taken by Anil Gulati are varied but they have one thing in common that is their expressions of being self, displaying freedom in flight and friendship as they enjoy music of nature.

Butterflies, the winged wonders are important bio indicators of the climate change, The exhibition will end on January 18
