GANDHINAGAR: Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi's first book in English, on the issue of climate change, will be released in Ahmedabad Tuesday.

The 250-page book titled "Convenient Action: Gujarat's response to Challenges of Climate Change", published by Macmillan, will be released at a function presided over by former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

R K Pachauri, director general, The Energy and Resource Institute ( TERI), will be the guest of honour at the function.

Modi has authored many books in his mother tongue Gujarati. This is his first in English.
