These are the slogans voiced by a young advocate of the Supreme Court of India and environmental activist, Radhakant Tripathy. Tripathy, who belongs to Bhadrak town, has embarked on a noble mission to protect our climate and environment from degradation and pollution. Recently he took out a rally and appealed the denizens of Bhadrak town to take care of the environment by planting more and more trees and protect it from pollutants. Tripathy, who is also a social activist fighting for people's rights and justice, also appealed to the student community and the intellectuals of the town to come forward and create awareness among people regarding climate change, global warming, environmental degradation and other burning issues.
Tripathy along with a large number of students, nature enthusiasts and volunteers took out a rally and covered the whole town spreading his message by raising slogans. He along with his associates also distributed leaflets to everyone appealing one and all to take care of the environment in order to curb climate change. He also appealed the Government to concentrate on massive plantation and social forestry projects in order to ensure a clean and green environment.
He urged the Government to come out with a permanent solution to curb environmental pollution due to industrialization and other factors. Later he submitted a representation in this regard to the SP and Collector of Bhadrak. Tripathy’s rally attracted a large following and it became the talk of the town. The rally was a grand success as it spread the intended message.
