As a part of Indian Institute of Forest Management's (IIFM) endeavour to provide exposure to different aspects of environment and allied domains, the student fraternity at the institute has instituted 'Climate Change and Environmental Core Competency Cell' (CCECCC).

The cell is an IIFM student body that strives to engage in meaningful debate and dialogue over various issues related to climate change with an objective to understand causes and concerns and form a concrete public opinion on the same.

The cell has been established in order to fulfill the need of growing concern over the issues related to change in the environment.

The cell is organising a one day symposium 'EnviroConclave: Climate Change & Business Sustainability' at IIFM on October 10.

The keynote speakers for this event are Nachiket Mor, President, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, Promode Kant, Director, International Center for Climate Change & Ecology (ICCE), Jayesh Bhatia, Director, NRMC India, Alok Srivastav, Director General, Environmental planning & Coordination Organisation, Bhopal.
