LUCKNOW: The Special Task Force (STF) on Tuesday busted an inter-state poaching racket and recovered three leopard hides, skeletons of the three felines and a sack full of fur after the arrest of 16 persons, including 12 women, hailing from Tibet. This is for the first time that 90-kg tiger bones worth about Rs 1.5 crore have been recovered from poachers in the state. The gang was in constant touch with tribals of at least six national wildlife ranges and was selling the animal hide to traders coming from as far as China, Nepal and even Malaysia.
