APPCB serves closure notice on five units

| HYDERABAD: The Task Force Committee of AP Pollution Control Board has decided to issue closure orders to five industries for causing air pollution in the surrounding areas.
The committee identified Akash Aluminium, IDA, Nacharam; Gaglani Dye Castings, Nacharam, Guraj Chemicals, Mallapur, Suresh Chemicals, Mallapur and Venkateswara Chemicals, Mallapur, for closure under the Water (Prevention and Control) Act, 1974, and Air (Prevention and Control) Act 1981, a release said.
