Forest guard killed by wild elephants

Udhagamandalam: A forest guard, Bomman alias `Karadi' Bomman, was killed by wild elephants at the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park on Friday. The Wildlife Warden, Nilgiris, Rakesh Kumar Dogra, said the victim was killed at Narathi, deep inside the sanctuary.

Bomman was an expert in dealing with wild elephants and was considered one of the best anti-poaching watchers of the forest department.
