CBI Mumbai arrested these poachers in Jabalpur and after getting permission from court took the poachers into custody. CBI team taking the poachers Rokin, Tiliya and Tyohari with them departed for Nagpur. Sources said that these poachers along with their accomplices had killed several tigers and leopards from the areas, including Melghat Tiger Reserve and other forest areas, in the year 2012-13. Maharashtra Forest Department had arrested most of their accomplices but these three poachers had succeeded to flee. Maharashtra Forest Department had given the case to CBI in the year 2014.
