Wildlife week to be organised from October 1

BHOPAL: Wildlife week is being organised at Van ViharRashtriyaUdhyan from October 1 to 7. Various competitions, workshops and camps will be conducted during the week.

The week will be inaugurated with the painting competition at 10.30 am. Students of class 1 to 4 will make paintings on title 'Titliyan Mere Sapno Mein'. Students of class 5 to 8 will make paintings on ' Mere Mohalle Me Ek Ped, Jo Mohalla He Vanya-JantuoKa', while students of class 9 to 12 to make paintings on 'BhartiyaEtihass, Sanskriti, Mithak Me Vanya-Prani'. Competitors of open category are to make paintings on 'Vanya Prani Ki HatyaHamaareBhavishya Ki Hatya' and disabled to make paintings of their own choice.

During the week, bird watching camp will be organized on October 2,3,4 and 6 at 8.30 am. Moreover, on October 2 snakes exhibition, lecture and workshop on "ParyavaranSwachchata Mein Gidhdhon Ki Bhoomika" will be conducted.

On October 3, photography, teachers debate competition, teachers workshop on teachers' role in conservation of wild animals will be organized. Further, rangoli competition and school debate competition on subject 'SanrakshitKshetro Mein BadhtaParyatan Vanya PraniyonKeLiyeGhatak He' will be held on October 4.

On October 6, creative workshop for students, competition and question-answer competition will be conducted for students of class 9 to 12. Moreover, the week will be concluded on October 7 with fancy dress competition, open question manch, photography and painting exhibition and prize distribution.
