Seven-foot crocodile rescued near Chhanilake
Correspondent : TNN
Vadodara: A seven-foot long crocodile was rescued by the forest department on Sunday after it ventured out of a lake in Chhani.

The reptile that had been residing in the lake for quite some time came out as the water began to overflow. Locals saw the crocodile on the road and immediately called the police control room.

"The cops informed the forest department that captured the crocodile. It was found on the road that leads to the national highway 8. With the city receiving heavy showers, reptiles staying in such water bodies are expected to venture out in the coming days," said animal activist, Rakesh Vadhwana.
