MPUVNL HOLDS PAINTING COMPETITION ON ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS

Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) celebrated World Environment Day on Sunday. A Painting Competition was organized at Urja Bhawan, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal along with a Debate Competition at EPCO Auditorium, Arera Colony, on the occasion.

Approximately 130 students from class 1-12 from 43 schools participated in these events. Painting Competition was organized in three student groups, Group A (Class 1-5), Group B (Class 6-8), Group C (Class 9-12) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Urja Bhawan.

The winners of Painting competition in Group A were Riddhima Agarwal, Anand Vihar School, Gunjita Sharma, Vindhyachal Academy and Adya Ranjan, IPS School; Group B were Antariksha Sethiya Jawahar Lal School, Arushi Ranjan, IP School and Aditya Jain, Campion School and Group C were Sushruta Sarkar DPS, Vedant Singh, Scholars Home Public School and Vishesh Ahirwar Shri Aurovindo.

Debate Competition was organized in both Hindi and English for students Class 8 to 12 at EPCO Auditorium from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm. The winners of the theme “Environment Benefits of Renewable Energy” for Hindi Debate Competition were (KShama Nimore, First prize winner of Excelance School), (Uday Giri-second prize winner of Sardar Public Patel School) and Vikas Mishra-Third prize winner of Excelance School ). Winners of theme in English Debate competition were (Samavi Srivastava-First prize winner of Dehli Public School), (Sourabh Jain-second prize winner of Dehli Public School)) and (Khushi Gupta -Third prize winner of Sant Joseph School ).

The World Environment Day program valediction included distribution of prizes and certificates to various winners participated in competitions by Vijendra Singh Sisodia, Chairman, MPUVNL, Manu Srivastava, PS, MPNRED & MD, MPUVNL. Dean of RGPV Univercity and Senior Press reporter Vinod Tiwari and many officers/ Employees of MPUVN & relatives of the participants were also present as along with speeches from the Programme Chief Guests for this occasion.
