Correspondent

At a time when parts of Rajasthan are grappling with drought, a prominent dargah in Bhilwara district has pitched in to save the precious resource, asking devouts to perform ablution through a small pot instead of running tap water.
Nearly 40 such places in the state are being approached to make arrangements in the respective dargahs for the visitors to use limited water for ablution, Mansoor Ali, spiritual head of the dargah of Sufi Saint Shah Saiyyed Mansur, said. He said the step would help in saving around 10 litres of water per person.
