BISWANATH CHARIALI, June 1 - The National Environment Awareness Programme was observed recently with a daylong programme at Cherelia ME School at Behali in Biswanath district under the aegis of Nature’s Banyapran in association with AsamBijnanSamiti with financial assistance from the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The day’s programmes included plantation, quiz competition and an awareness meet. The awareness meet was held on the topic of ‘Combating Desertification, Land Degradation and Drought’.
